About
Meet Dr. Julie Moore
From our first introduction, (Hi, I’m Dr. Moore!) it’s my priority to make sure you feel confident and at ease in my care.
Know that while we are working together—whether it’s addressing an acute issue or chronic illness— making sure you feel heard and acknowledged is important to me. Your health and well being matter, seeking help is the first step towards wellness.
Let’s walk this journey together.
A little about me:
- I am a licensed Naturopathic Physician
- I have been practicing in Vancouver since 2004
- I am board certified in Acupuncture, Chelation Therapy, Injection Therapies and Prescriptive Authority
Now, the fun stuff:
- I share my home with four white fluffs: Jerry, Marley, Janice and Qtip (and one human man)
- I received my undergraduate Biology degree specializing in Genetics, Zoology and Environmental Ecology
- I geek out hard on infections, cat videos keep me sane, and my favourite pastime is tending to my veggie garden
The Initial Appointment
What to expect:
After a thorough health and lifestyle intake, physical exam, and review of relevant laboratory testing, I develop an individual treatment protocol. If indicated, lab testing may be recommended as well.
You will leave with a protocol in place to guide you in your health goals, like a road map to wellness. The journey to optimal health is a marathon, not a race. Follow up visits may be recommended to ensure your care is both comprehensive and effective.
Long Term Health
Aside from treating acute issues and imbalances, my goal is to empower you with knowledge and tools to effectively care for your own health, long term. Even generally healthy people can improve their stamina, immune system and overall health with the help of naturopathic care. There is no better time than now to make your health a priority!
